Why I'm Running
Alaska has given my family everything. From the time I served as Treasurer of the City of Palmer in 1971, through decades on the Borough Assembly, in the State Senate, and now as Mayor of the Mat-Su Borough, I have had one mission — to serve the people of this great state.
I am running for Governor because Alaska deserves leadership that listens, acts, and puts people first. We need transparency in Juneau, responsible stewardship of our resources, and a government that strengthens — not strains — our communities.
I am running because Alaska's best days are still ahead, and I intend to fight for every one of them.
